ClickFunnels Review [2020]: Pricing + $300 Bonus For Free

We are reader-supported. When you buy through links on our site, we may earn an affiliate commission.

24 months ago, Kathryn was trying to figure out how to launch her own online business.

Now she’s doing $45,000 a month in revenue.

I asked her, "What are the most important tools you use for your business?"

Her answers?

#1 is ClickFunnels.  It is a game changing tool if it is a good fit for your business.

By the end of this review, I am certain you'll know if ClickFunnels is a good fit for your business, because this review has quizzes and ratings for ClickFunnels based on your business model and industry.

What was her #2 answer?

Facebook ads.

The problem is Facebook ads can be expensive when you're just starting.

So, this review will help you with two things:

  1. I will help you determine if ClickFunnels is a good choice for your business.

  2. If it is a good choice, when you buy ClickFunnels through ExpertSumo, I will give you a $300 Funnel Builder Scholarship. For free.

Before I get to the giant review section, let me explain the Funnel Builder Scholarship.

After you sign up for ClickFunnels, I give you $300 to pay for other services and products you need to build your sales funnel.

For example, some entrepreneurs have us pay for:

  • Facebook ads to get traffic to their ClickFunnels website (that's what I did with Kathryn).

  • All of their web hosting, email marketing software, and webinar software.

  • New ClickFunnels design templates, or courses that teach them how to design funnel highly converting funnels.

In other words, you can use the scholarship to grow your business, whether that’s with traffic, software, design, hiring, or a dozen other things.

All you have to do is buy ClickFunnels through the unique ExpertSumo link, which I will email to you - just click the yellow button and tell us where to send it.

Too Good To Be True Warning (Or, "What's in it for ExpertSumo?")

I get this feedback a lot... a free scholarship seems too good to be true.   Let’s crush that doubt with two truth bombs:

Truth Bomb #1: ExpertSumo is not a charity - I do get something valuable out of this.

Even though I am basically giving away $300, I still benefit financially in two ways:

Small Benefit: When you buy ClickFunnels through ExpertSumo, they give me a commission.

Big Benefit: $300 is a cheap investment to connect with a growing entrepreneur.

I will try to become your friend (prepare for me to lay on the charm and follow you on social media).

And as your business grows, I will offer services, promote your products, introduce you to my network, recommend other products you could buy, or people you could hire.

A real relationship with a successful entrepreneur is worth 100x more than a measly $300.

Summary:  You don’t need to trust my altruism.  You can trust my self-interest.

Truth Bomb #2: If you can’t trust ExpertSumo, trust other entrepreneurs I've helped:

Kathryn used her scholarship on advertisements.

Susan used her scholarship on a design training course to boost her freelance career.

So, before you read the rest of the review:

1. Click the yellow button and submit your information to opt-in to the $300 scholarship.  Do it now, before you forget. You won't lose your place or be redirected.

ALSO, there's no pressure to move forward or buy ClickFunnels - submitting your email is just taking advantage of a potential $300 opportunity if you DO eventually buy ClickFunnels.

2. Read the rest of the review after you've submitted your email.

3. If you decide ClickFunnels is NOT for you, respond to the email I sent you.  I will help you find the right product, and match you with a different scholarship you can take advantage of.

Okay, on to the review - it has five major sections:

  1. Our rating of ClickFunnels based on industry.

  2. ClickFunnels features, pros and cons

  3. Two quizzes: Business Matching (Is ClickFunnels Right For Me?) and ROI Calculation (Is ClickFunnels Worth It?)

  4. Reviews from other users

  5. FAQs

Remember as you read:

You might not need ClickFunnels in the first place... about 6 out of 10 readers don't. (I’ll let you know about alternatives). But if it does fit, take advantage of our scholarship.

Updates:

September 2019 Update: Funnel Builder Scholarship opportunity has been added for review readers.

Rapid Summary: What is ClickFunnels?

ClickFunnels' core product is a website builder that excels at building a specific type of site: a sales funnel.

What is a sales funnel? It's is a sequence of pages that have one goal: to move the customer closer and closer to buying a specific product.

Like this:

Everything is set up to try to funnel the user to the next page. From email submit page to webinar page/sales page to shopping cart page to up-sell page.

It's great for web pages that just want to sell a single thing... or get someone's email, so they can sell...a single thing. Like:

  • Online training courses,

  • Gurus / Authors / Teachers / Consultants

  • Single product launches (like Kickstarters)

ClickFunnels has several features, but they all are at their best when they serve businesses those types of businesses.

Our Overall ExpertSumo Rating:

ClickFunnels can be a game changer...

...or not. It depends on your business. So rather than one rating, I have several, based on the type of business you are.

ClickFunnels For Bloggers:

OVERALL: ☆☆☆☆☆ - 0/5 stars.

PRICING: ★☆☆☆☆ - 1/5 stars.

EASE OF USE: ☆☆☆☆☆ - 0/5 stars.

DETAILS:

Does you website make most it's money from advertisements?

Does it require writing and posting a lot of content?

Then don't use ClickFunnels. You could make it work, but it isn't what ClickFunnels is built to do.

Pricing is more expensive that a blogger would need because of all of the features a blog doesn't need to use.

And in terms of ease of use, it would be significantly harder to put up and manage daily blog posts on the site than other options. ClickFunnels is about building a few dozen of high quality pages, not a few hundred.

VERDICT:

Use Wordpress instead. Search one of almost 30,000 professional theme from here for a reasonable price. If you plan on this being a big project, get hosting from WPEngine (who also has 35 professional themes they give to their users for free).

If your project will be smaller, Bluehost has reasonable pricing.

More details here on How to Start a Blog if this sounds like you.

ClickFunnels For Mom-and-Pop Businesses:

OVERALL: ★★☆☆☆ - 2/5 stars.

PRICING: ★☆☆☆☆ - 1/5 stars.

EASE OF USE: ★★★☆☆ - 3/5 stars.

DETAILS:

Mom & Pop businesses, AKA brick & mortar businesses, depend on reviews and physical location for success.

A strong website isn't a huge driver of success, which is where ClickFunnels excels.

Because of that, pricing for ClickFunnels is again too expensive based on the limited used of features that are useful.

But, if you really wanted to, you could make it work. Creating a "Home", "About", or "Contact" page would be easy. But that's about the only feature you could use.

VERDICT:

Any website builder will probably do the job here - if you choose ClickFunnels that's great, but most budget and focus should aim on the business presence on OTHER websites, like Yelp.

ClickFunnels for Service Based Businesses:

OVERALL: ★★★★☆ - 4/5 stars.

PRICING: ★★★☆☆ - 3/5 stars.

EASE OF USE: ★★★★☆ - 4/5 stars.

DETAILS: Service based businesses (carpet cleaning, limo drivers, real estate agents, home repairs) could measure their success with ClickFunnels based on one question:

Are you spending at least $500 a month on advertising?

If you are, use ClickFunnels.

ClickFunnels is great at turning ads into customers. Especially for urgent, personal sales (like most service-based businesses)

Pricing is normal for what you'll find when looking for a website builder that you can use to make changes for each new advertising campaign.

And as far as creating webpages (sales funnels) built for ad campaigns, this is one of the easiest.

VERDICT:

Use ClickFunnels. And sign up for our bonus link so you can get the $300 Scholarships along with it.

ClickFunnels for Startups / Launches:

OVERALL: ★★★☆☆ - 3/5 stars.

PRICING: ★★☆☆☆ - 2/5 stars.

EASE OF USE: ★★★★☆ - 4/5 stars.

DETAILS:

Are you...

  • Trying to build a webpage to launch a product to get sign-ups or pre-sales?

  • Non-technical, but want to use affiliates to promote your product?

Then ClickFunnels is for you.

Otherwise, you might want to keep looking.

Pricing for a startup depends how far along you are. If you're pre-product, pre-revenue, pre-market fit... It's probably a little expensive money-wise.

But time-wise, it's a good investment, because it's super easy to make a landing page on ClickFunnels compared to coding up your own.

VERDICT:

Maybe buy ClickFunnels, especially if you're trying to capture emails and pre-signups. Otherwise, you might want to look elsewhere.

ClickFunnels for Big eCommerce Sites:

OVERALL: ★☆☆☆☆ - 1/5 stars.

PRICING: ★★☆☆☆ - 2/5 stars.

EASE OF USE: ★☆☆☆☆ - 1/5 stars.

DETAILS:

ClickFunnels was not meant to build a site like Amazon. eCommerce sites that have a growing and shrinking catalog, with different availabilities, stock number, price changes, and updates just won't work on ClickFunnels. You'd go crazy if you tried.

ClickFunnels was meant to build web pages that sell a single item (or two or three) very well.

Changes to pricing and inventory would all need to happen manually. Don't do it.

VERDICT:

Don't use ClickFunnels. You need an eCommerce platform like Shopify. If you need more guidance, read Which is the Best eCommerce Platform?

ClickFunnels for Consultants / Gurus / Coaches Selling Courses Online:

OVERALL: ★★★★★ - 5/5 stars.

PRICING: ★★★★★ - 5/5 stars.

EASE OF USE: ★★★★★ - 5/5 stars.

DETAILS:

This is the core audience that thrives with ClickFunnels.

Is your product delivered digitally? That's great.

Can you product be sold by affiliates? Perfect.

Do you spend money on advertising to push people to your website. You, my friend, are a perfect match.

All of ClickFunnels features line up perfectly with these needs. Because of that, you will struggle to find a product that is significantly cheaper, or that is easier to use.

VERDICT:

Buy ClickFunnels - it's built specifically for your type of business. And submit your email to us before you buy so I can send you to the $300 Scholarship.

ClickFunnels for B2B Companies:

OVERALL: ★★☆☆☆ - 3/5 stars.

PRICING: ★★★☆☆ - 3/5 stars.

EASE OF USE: ★★★☆☆ - 3/5 stars.

DETAILS:

B2B companies probably shouldn't use ClickFunnels for most things... but they could use it in one scenario that would actually be effective.

If a company is spending money trying to get prospects to opt-in to white papers or webinars AND the marketing team hates waiting IT to set things up, ClickFunnels could give them some breathing room to make their own side website that didn't depend on IT, something like www.learnaboutb2bcompany.com

To use it for anything else though? Probably a mistake. That's why the pricing isn't great, even though it's cheap for most B2B services... because you can't use it for everything you do.

VERDICT:

Use ClickFunnels if you are part of the marketing team and you're sick of having your hands tied by IT to get things done. If not, ClickFunnels might not be that much of a difference maker for your business.

WAIT! Two things:

1. If you think you're a fit, submit your email before you forget so I can send you the link to click so you can claim your $300 Scholarship.

2. Before I get into features, let's talk about pricing, since you can't find it on the ClickFunnels homepage.

If you don't care, click here to skip ahead to the features.

ClickFunnels Pricing:

Many people ask, "how much does ClickFunnels cost", because the pricing isn't available on their home page.

But ClickFunnels does have their two main pricing plans hidden on a sub-page of their website that you can see here

IMPORTANT NOTE: There is no special discounted pricing, no matter what other websites say. The only thing that makes a difference to your wallet are the bonuses people offer. Anything else that other websites say is a lie.

The Pricing Plans:

The 20,000 visitor plan - Price: $97 a month

The 20,000 visitor plan, which costs $97 a month ( or $83 a month with the ExpertSumo loophole), is a plan that is a good fit for people who...

  • Don't plan on using affiliate for marketing.

  • Already have their own email marketing solution

  • Only need a handful of different landing pages or sales funnels.

  • Don't have daily traffic over 4 figures.

If you're launching a product or your business is fairly new, this is the plan you should start with. Besides, you can always upgrade painlessly if you need.

The Etison Suite plan - Price: $297 a month

And the Etison Suite, which has unlimited visitors, extra email marketing features (called :), and the ability to set up your own affiliate program (called Backpack). That costs $297.

ClickFunnels offers a free trial for 14 days. That's enough time to set up a page for your product and start driving traffic and making sales.

Features, Pros and Cons of ClickFunnels

Let's talk about features, pros, cons, and whether anything might be a deal breaker for your business.

Hopefully this is helpful because most of ClickFunnels marketing is so benefit centered (Grow Your Business! Increase Your Revenue!) that many people end up wondering what ClickFunnels is actually used for.

Example from this ClickFunnels promotional video:

This feature list will give you a view of ClickFunnels from a perspective that nobody from the marketing department has touched.

Drag and Drop Editor

The drag-and-drop editor allows a user to design their webpage without code.

It isn't QUITE a "drag and drop" system. Everything is built on a system of rows and columns. And then you can different elements (text/photos) to those rows or columns.

You can still do most everything you need to do design-wise. And this system does make it easy to duplicate pages - you maintain the template or rows, columns and elements you created, and then just switch out the elements for your new page.

This is also the first feature ClickFunnels lists on their homepage, and is the very core of their website builder product.

Pros:

The drag and drop builder is significantly easier than coding up your own website.

Cons:

While the drag and drop builder is helpful, it isn't necessarily that much better than other website builders with the same functionality. ClickFunnels outshines elsewhere... but it is just average here.

Free* Funnel Templates

While building a sales page with the drag and drop builder is easy, knowing WHAT to build or how to plan a design can be difficult.

To solve that issue, ClickFunnels has free templates for all sorts of different page types that you can copy-paste over to your website. Then all you have to do is switch out the template elements for yours.

Pros:

The free templates are very helpful for getting up and running quickly.

Cons:

The templates are available to everyone, and by nature, may not look unique. That's not a huge issue in some industries, but in other industries with lots of sales funnels, your customers may have seen the exact same layout before on another website.

A/B Split Tests

A/B testing is a secret weapon for those who commit to it.

The most important part of conversion is having the right offer. But once you've got the right offer, making tweaks to your web design layout can be a great investment.

Pros:

Much MUCH cheaper than other A/B testing platforms... because it's included for free.

Cons:

It isn't as full featured as those other platforms. It's helpful to imagine it as a product that has 80% of the features, at a 100% discount.

Email Integration

Integrating with your current email marketing software provider is pretty easy. ClickFunnels integrates with a lot of different email services.

Pros:

Easy to set-up for a straight up marketing campaign.

Cons:

Sophisticated tagging and tracking and setup is a little trickier.

ClickFunnels and Mailchimp

ClickFunnels and Mailchimp integrate easily with each other.

One thing you may want to be aware of is that if you are planning on doing any affiliate marketing as part of your email followup, then you may want to switch away from Mailchimp (they don't like affiliate marketing).

ClickFunnels and Aweber

ClickFunnels and Aweber integrate with each other.

Aweber is a great choice for a ClickFunnels user who is getting started. Eventually people start to migrate away from Aweber to something more sophisticated when their lists get up into the 5 or 6 figures, but it's a great service before you reach that level.

ClickFunnels and Constant Contact

ClickFunnels and Constant Contact also integrate.

Constant Contact is a good choice of email marketing for ClickFunnels, and it scales pretty well.

Clickfunnels and ConvertKit

ClickFunnels and ConvertKit integrate and work well with each other.

While ConvertKit is newer to the scene, they have great reviews from their users, and many people use them together with ClickFunnels.

ClickFunnels and GetResponse

ClickFunnels and GetResponse integrate.

This is an interesting integration, because GetResponse has their own landing page builder product that is a competitor of ClickFunnels. However, there are many users that use GetResponse for their email marketing and ClickFunnels for everything else.

ClickPops

ClickFunnels has a feature called "ClickPops".

What it does is that it creates a 'popup form' that can be triggered when a visitor has been on the page for a certain amount of time or is about to leave the page.

Pros:

These ClickPops have been shown to increase the opt-in rate on web pages by capturing people who were about to leave the site.

Cons:

A few users find these annoying, but I think it's a good feature to have.

ClickOptin

ClickOptin is a 'two-step' process for signing up to a form. A user clicks a button, and then a popup with a form jumps to the front of the screen for the user to fill out.

Pros:

This type of opt-in has beat a typical email submit form in several A/B tests. Using the ClickOptin feature could boost your conversion rate.

Cons:

Nothing. I think this is a great feature. However, ClickFunnels isn't the only service that has something like this.

Membership Areas

It's possible to create a membership area on your website with ClickFunnels if you would like to sell a membership style product with lessons or courses.

Pros:

It's nice to be able to keep everything on the same platform, from landing page to sales page to the membership area.

Cons:

This isn't quite what ClickFunnels was built for. There are advantages to keeping everything with the same service, but if your courses or membership areas get more complex... you probably will outgrow ClickFunnels. It's great to get started with, maybe not great to scale with.

Upsells, Cross-sell, Downsell, One-time-Offers

ClickFunnels thrives with one-time-offers. The ability to upsell a customer after they've just purchased is very difficult to set up with your own developer, and it is a breeze with ClickFunnels.

Pros:

Not only is ClickFunnels especially built for this, much of the marketing and training provided by ClickFunnels to their customers is built around this process.

They operate under the assumption that the sales funnel you've built doesn't end with a sale... it ends after you've enticed the customer to make 4 more purchases AFTER the sale.

Cons:

None. ClickFunnels is great at this. Other landing page builders have similar functionality, but the ClickFunnels community is completely dialed into this concept unlike any other.

Clever Order Forms (Abandoned Cart)

If a user ever gets 99% of the way to purchasing, but doesn't, ClickFunnels has a built in automation to try to salvage the sale. These are often called Abandoned Cart Emails.

Pros:

Abandoned cart emails are an awesome investment from an ROI standpoint. And setting them up is miserable by yourself, but very easy if you use ClickFunnels.

Cons:

None. This is a great feature.

Easy To Create Your Own Affiliate Program

ClickFunnels Etison Suite has a product called Backpack. Backpack lets you easily create an affiliate program for your product, so you can send out a little army of affiliate marketers to promote your website.

Pros:

This is very easy to set up in comparison to creating your own affiliate program or working with other vendors. Great for getting your affiliate empire started.

Cons:

This is clunky. I've heard from several ClickFunnels users that there comes a point where if you start to get too many sales, Backpack gets buggy. Most people use Backpack to get up and running, and then switch to something more sophisticated once they've grown.

Customization with CSS, HTML, etc

Most people are drawn to ClickFunnels because they can create sales pages WITHOUT needing to know how to code.

However, if you have a little bit of technical savvy, then you can customize your site with snippets of HTML, CSS and Javascript.

Pros:

Great for making extra tweaks to a sales page in order to polish design or make something truly unique.

Cons:

As can be expected, part of the thing that makes ClickFunnels great are its constraints. You obviously won't be able to be as flexible with your customizations as you would building a site from scratch. But... that's probably a tradeoff you're looking to make if you're interested in ClickFunnels.

Email Automation with Email Templates

ClickFunnels doesn't just have templates for sales funnels, they have templates for common types of email messages that you might send to your list.

Pros:

Designing and writing emails is deceptively time consuming. Templates are a great shortcut to get up and running.

Cons:

None. You need to make adjustments to make the emails work for your list, but it's a great way to cut out a lot of busy work.

Actionetics Autoresponder

ClickFunnels has a product called Actionetics. It is their version of an integrated email marketing system (on steroids).

Similar to other email marketing automation systems, they let you send messages based on user behaviors, such as pages that they've visited or things they've purchased.

Pros:

Email marketing automation from anyone is a great investment if you set it up right and have a large enough audience.

Cons:

You must have the $297 a month Etison suite version of ClickFunnels in order to use Actionetics.

Multi Dimensional Followup (Email, Facebook Messenger, Retargeting, Desktop Notifications, SMS)

*helpful for reminder messages, or for driving traffic to non-commercial web pages (think opt-in, top-of-funnel pages)

*great if you are a service business (which is one of the business types that could use this effectively). Reminder messages about schedules, about setting an appointment, or asking for them to call if they have a question are all powerful ideas.

One of the advantages of Actionetics is that the outreach channel isn't just limited to emails.

They have the ability to use Facebook messenger, display ad retargeting, desktop notifications and text messages.

Pros:

This type of integration is hard to set up by yourself. Having it within the ClickFunnels platform is very helpful.

Cons:

There is a steeper learning curve when it comes to using any of these extra channels effectively. This feature (which I think is really cool) might just be overkill for your business.

Integration with ShipStation

I don't think ClickFunnels is the perfect platform for physical products, but it can be done.

ClickFunnels ability to integrate with Shipstation allows people selling and shipping physical products to easily create shipping labels and track packages from door to door.

Pros:

Shipstation integrates with more than just ClickFunnels, but it is a must-have for people trying to use ClickFunnels for physical products.

It turns 'ClickFunnels for eCommerce' from a bad idea to a manageable idea (in my opinion).

Cons:

None, other than the fact that this integration isn't necessarily unique to ClickFunnels.

Quizzes:

These will help you see any red flags that might apply to your situation before you decide to buy.

Is ClickFunnels Right For Me?

ClickFunnels doesn't work for everyone. It doesn't work for the majority of people. No one tool can fit every single business model. This quiz will help you determine if your business fits.

Does your business sell lots of physical products?

YES:

Then Shopify would be a better fit for you. If you want more details you can check out our review.

NO:

The ClickFunnels might work. Even if you have a few physical products, there are several people have success on the ClickFunnels platform, but very few of them have a large number of physical products.

Are you selling a product, or are you planning on showing ads on your site?

SELLING A PRODUCT:

Then ClickFunnels could work. It isn't great for blogging or media heavy websites, but it is good at sales.

SHOWING ADS:

Do not pick ClickFunnels. A Wordpress website with a nice theme is probably what you're looking for. WPEngine does both hosting and provides professional themes to their users for free. More details (and a special bonus) here.

What's more important to you - building a homepage or building sales funnels?

BUILDING A HOMEPAGE:

Try something like a premium Wordpress theme (I suggest the themes provided by WPEngine - or Wix instead. ClickFunnels is best when working like an online salesperson, not a 'welcome page'.

BUILDING SALES FUNNELS:

Pick ClickFunnels, this is the main use case. And do it through our link so I can give you free the free scholarship - just click here to tell us where to send it.

Are you building a web app or a website?

BUILDING A WEB APP:

ClickFunnels does NOT do web apps. You could use it to sell your app or take signups for your app, but it can't build a web app that connects to databases or responds in real-time to users. You'll need to build that custom.

I suggest hiring someone through Toptal I've used them before and they are great. They have Awesome talent, and you skip the painful parts of prospecting, interviewing and testing, and you skip straight to the hiring.

BUILDING A WEBSITE:

Check the other questions to see if ClickFunnels is best for your particular type of website.

Do you already have a website?

NO, THIS IS A BRAND NEW WEBSITE:

Then you could possible get both your design AND hosting through ClickFunnels because they have an integration with Cloudflare, who is a CDN provider who also does hosting .

YES, I ALREADY HAVE A WEBSITE:

ClickFunnels can still work for you. In fact, many people use the ClickFunnels Wordpress plugin to easily integrate their sales funnels into their Wordpress sites.

So, do you think ClickFunnels is right for you?

If so, then make sure to sign up through your unique ExpertSumo link by clicking the button below.

Is ClickFunnels Worth It?

ClickFunnels runs from $97 - $297 a month. Here a few ways to determine the ROI for your specific business and whether you should buy or not.

Do-It-Yourself ROI: Are you considering custom building the features of ClickFunnels as part of your own software system?

CUSTOM BUILD FOR MYSELF:

Don't. Stop. Just Stop. Unless you really need some unique type of customization your business couldn't survive without, then use ClickFunnels. It will cost you so much more to build this yourself than if you just decide to use ClickFunnels, certainly more than $297 a month.

NO, I WOULDN'T TRY TO CUSTOM BUILD SOMETHING LIKE CLICKFUNNELS:

Good answer, it's not worth it. ClickFunnels is a bargain compared to custom development.

Business Model ROI: Is your product a low-cost product? Or is your potential market small?

YES, IT'S A LOW COST PRODUCT OR IT'S A SMALL MARKET:

Then ClickFunnels might not work. Over the course of a year, ClickFunnels is going to cost between $1,100 to $3,600. If you sell a cheap product (example: one with only $7 worth of profit) then it would take you over 500 sales to break even with the Etison Suite.

Or if you have a small market where you can only make one or two sales a week, if your product isn't priced high enough, your margins will be eaten alive by your ClickFunnels costs.

NO, IT'S A HIGH ENOUGH PRICED PRODUCT WITH A LARGE ENOUGH MARKET:

Then use ClickFunnels. I personally think the sweet spot for pricing with a product that is successful on ClickFunnels is in between $200 to $2,000. If that's you, ClickFunnels is a no brainer.

Getting Started ROI: Do you have a product? Do you know how to drive traffic?

NO:

No product? Then wait a little bit until you're ready to launch (OR create a pre-launch plan - ClickFunnels is good at those). Not confident with traffic? Reminder, our $300 Scholarship bonus can help here, but you can also experiment yourself before you buy ClickFunnels by sending some type of paid traffic to a post on Medium, Quora or Reddit.

YES:

Then if your business model is a match according to the other quiz questions, dive right in to ClickFunnels!

So, do you think ClickFunnels is worth it to your business?

Michael Duquet, Web Growth for Hootsuite’s Enterprise Web Presence - ★★★★☆

Limited, frustrating... but extremely useful full funnel builder. Built for people without a technical background, and is good 'out of the box'. But there are limited layout options. [source: g2Crowd.com]

FAQs

A few frequently asked questions about ClickFunnels:

Is ClickFunnels a Scam?

ClickFunnels isn't a scam - it's a legitimate company with over 100,000 customers with hundreds of employees...

...But I've found there are two reasons someone would call it a scam, even though it's legitimate.

1. ClickFunnels is Too Expensive

This is for "Just Getting Started" people above. If you don't have the cash, and don't have a plan for traffic, then you'll end up having a beautiful ClickFunnels site that doesn't make you money.

It isn't a scam. But it'll feel like one when you're paying them, but nobody is paying you . Remember, ClickFunnels helps you turn visitors into customers, but it won't help you get the visitors in the first place.

2. ClickFunnels is a Bad Fit

Like the quiz above, some businesses aren't a great fit for ClickFunnels. And spending money every month on something that isn't helping your business very much feels like a scam. It isn't. You just picked the wrong product for the job, so it'll feel like one.

Take the quiz above to make sure your business and ClickFunnels are a good match. If you aren't, the quiz has some suggestions about where to look next.

ClickFunnels Coaching & Support

There are three major areas where new ClickFunnels users usually need help.

1. Design

You may have a natural talent for design.

I do not.

If you're like me, you have two options:

Option A: The ClickFunnels Marketplace

The ClickFunnels marketplace has free and paid templates that you can plug into your own funnels. All you do is replace the images and the text and you have a workable website. You can search through the options here, before you even have a ClickFunnels account.

Option B: Design Training

You may get to the point where you want to level up your design... a template might get you to a 7 out of 10, but you might look at your website and want to design you own "10 out of 10" funnel.

You can get there with a lot of practice. Or you can take a short cut with your training and enroll in CF Design School. They are super hands on and share all the tools and tactics to redesign a funnel.

They are also deeply embedded into the ClickFunnels community, and often lead to great networking opportunities.

ExpertSumo has a discount to the course if you choose this option. Go here, submit your email and let us know where to send you discount code.

2. Copywriting

Copy is the hardest part of sales funnels (for me anyway).

ClickFunnels actually has a product that automates a lot of this process. It's called FunnelScripts. FunnelScripts is an automated software that will generate 80% of your copywriting for your product.

I would suggest it if you're feeling lost or stuck. Get it here

3. Traffic

A beautiful sales funnel doesn't mean anything if you're not pouring traffic into it.

Cracking the traffic code can be tough. There are lots of marketing channels, but the one that I've seen most ClickFunnels websites is Facebook ads. If you need help getting started figuring out traffic, give us your email so I can send you the scholarship. You'll be able to use the $300 on Facebook ads as you scale your traffic.
